Before turning 21, I had flown less than 75K lifetime miles, and had never been out of North America. I've been making up for lost time, ever since.

I still can't believe you don't have the L10, DC-8, or even the DC-10. I have six UA DC-8's from between the ages of 1 and 3, including CLE-SLC when CLE was a UA "hub."

Well this grant proposal I have to put together was handed to me because someone else dropped the ball. If I win it I know what I'll be doing for the next 5 years.

I noticed that this morning, and wanted also to add this.

Nice photos! I plan to investigate potential Burro rentals well in advance. No Boxer should ever miss out on a potential Burro ride. :-:

Speaking of burros, you can apparently adopt a burro from the federal government. The Department of the Interior also has a program designed to control burro fertility. Read about it all here.

There is also something called the "Wild Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971."

It is supposed to be in the mid-50s here in SE PA. I can't believe it.

Burro-riding in PSP is one of the best ideas I've heard in a long time.

Haha. Bought a few of Steph3n's G550's in AM, and I have one of them running ACY-SEA-SYD.

it will only take a couple days to pay for it at the 50% I sold it at, but still better than scrapping and you can make some dough.

US-SYD routes are so useless on the large planes that will make the distance, they don't even make enough to pay for the maintenance and 'mortgage' but at 5 mil, no biggie :)

Coupons straight into the travel folder, stickers straight in the trash!

^Howdy, stranger!

Howdy!
Been too dang busy working and traveling!!

Recap:
- a week in ILM (first US flights in 2+yrs, leave a day early due to impending storm, work 18+hrs/day x 6 days, return 2 days late due to idiocy of others; net gain of 1 free Avis day for their screw-up, a liver-transplants-worth of company sponsered drinking, and a very nice EQM mistake in my favor :) )

- Lovely 5-day vacation in Deer Valley (Park City, UT). Pre-vacation bliss interupted by the BF's possibility of postponing due to needing to resign current job in light of new job, and ANOTHER impending storm...) Find out 12hrs before departure that we are, for real, going on vacation (if the storm doesn't beat us to the starting line.) Luckily had mileage upgrades secured for us both LGA-IAH-SLC, first flight of the day before the rain turned to blizzard.
Back to work, hours suck...I need to win the lottery!!

After the nasty 733 I flew the other night, I wanted to shower. That thing was looking really sad inside. I'm sure tomorrow's first flight, also on a 733, will be equally disgusting. But maybe I'll get lucky and end up on one that they've refurbished the interior on.

Park City/Deer Valley sounds bliss^

I'd love to win the lottery; I'll continue to work . . .barely. At least then I could pick and choose my customers ;)

I've done horrible on giving up swearing. I had no idea how much easier it was to give up food and or/drink :o

I couldn't give up swearing. Just not going to happen.

In 2007 I gave up soft drinks. I made it the entire six weeks, which I never thought I could.
