Incentivization 101. :D

I think that will be a plan. More to follow. ^

I'm picking up one course but have stated I will only do so if I can schedule the office hours from Korea. Without the option to teach in Korea (if accepted), I was going to refuse.

That looks like it might be the week that I start the job. If it isn't, I'll come up for a night of shenanigans.

Excellent news. ^^

Too bad I have to do advising that week - the reason I'm doing PH CHI and coming home is that I have the beginning of that week off.

Off to racquetball. With a sinus headache.

Seems Lindsey Jacobellis did not take enough dayquil, she did not get her power back...(sorry just commenting on silly commercial on in the front of the house)

As of Friday, we will know how many Devils-Blackhawks tickets tommy777 has access to. Could always come up for that.

My fog horn voice has semi disappeared but my head is filled with cotton and I just want to go back to bed for the rest of the day and night. But I have a hair appointment and that is much more important than sleeping. :D

I've already decided that dinner is left over roast beef sandwiches. Too sick to cook. ;)

I have been to Bonaire. Personally, I was not impressed. I am not a "diver" and so cannot talk from that perspective. My understanding is that there are some fantastic dive sites there, so if that is what you are looking for, you probably won't be disappointed.

The island, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired in my mind. The town of Kralendijk (sp?) is very, very small and has a few crappy stores, some reasonably decent restaurants (expensive!) and a couple of bars.

the town area is a stopping off point for cruise ships. the week we were there two ships docked. You can literally touch the side of the ship as you walk along the waterfront.

It is an arid island and I prefer lush, tropical vegetation, so I didn't think it was particularly "pretty".

Driving around the island is very easy, as is hiring of cars. The CO direct flight leaves very late on a Saturday night (around midnight if I recall) and arrives around 5am. The car rental places open just after the flight arrives. All the big names are there.

Unless you are into beach activities, swimming, snorkeling and diving, there is absoultely nothing else to do on the island except eat and sleep!

I wouldn't go back. We went with friends who own a home down there, so we were happy to have a "free" vacation (if you can call spending nearly $3,000 on food and car hire free ), but it is not on my list of must re-visit places.

FTLurker beat me to it!

I was going to tell you not to expect the companion upgrade on the return! Shenanigans of the highest order.

There is a guy here that is apparently learning a new language because he is practicing it out loud. His pronunciation is so bad, I'm not even sure what language it is...
