Since you find yourself at a CP, might as well sign up for a Priority club promo

I already enrolled in the HHonors Throw-Down.

I'm running home - with my sinus problem, I pronounced "shipboard" in a lecture as if I were photog72's daughter telling the "board" to "sit"

All good but for the part about DL. If there is a sensible, just, and loving god of aviation, she will shut out DL based on their NRT presence and the very un-Japanese trait of...here we go again, kids...hubris.

Bitter much??

Good point, yes. The Japanese authorities will look much more favorably on their native companies.

Indeed. Giving the locals 16/20 slots is a bit of a home-field advantage.

If DL got 3/4 and HA got the 4th the OW and *A alliances, with their newly minted ATI freedoms, would be able to still serve about as many of the destinations as they desire. The only issue would be who operates the aircraft. And a good ATI approach doesn't care about that so much.

I should have enough upcoming long-hauls to help up the average a bit more.

Not been but if you're a diver it is definitely worth it. I believe that shell nyc has been but I'm not certain.

They did not wrong me personally. Their attitude irks me.

Many of these are weekend (or long, holiday weekend) trips, with PER/LEA being the exception. I haven't taken a week off for spring break since I started school. As this will be my last opportunity to do so, I'm burning a week of vacation time to check out Western Australia, which generally takes so long to get to, that even a 3 or 4 day weekend isn't enough.

The money part is considerably easier. Cheap rent, no car, small food budget, no dependents, no TV/cable, cheap cell phone plan, and an electric bill that averages $25/month leaves me with enough disposable income to pursue my passion: travel.
