I had an interesting meeting with my manager today. Either today or tomorrow, we will be signing a huge contract with a U.S. based brokerage house. They will be rolling out one of our wealth management products to all their advisors in all their branches in the U.S. My manager has asked me if I would like to be the project manager for this roll out. On the one hand, I haven't really done a project like this in a long time, so it would good to get back into this type of thing, plus great exposure for me throughout the company. On the other hand it entails managing people (including their travel) , which I swore I would never do again. I've gotten really used to essentially doing my own thing, setting my own schedule and being responsible for no one but myself.

It was not presented to me as something that I have to do, or even that not accepting would be a bad move, but still...it's probably not a good idea to turn down additional responsibilities, especially in this climate.
