I have been reading about the HND slots. Other than they all suck, DL applied for all 4. DL is becoming the AA of the 80's.

We noticed DL applying for all 4, it was .

Co should have applied for all 4 as well, HNL-HND, IAH-HND,EWR-HND, and LAX-HND :D

DL has no horse in that race. With JL and NH being the dominant carriers there, the smart thing would be to award them away from SkyTeam. Northwelta can stay in their big-dog spot at NRT.

My bet is CO gets the GUM bid and loses the EWR bid.

Careful, Mike. That might make too much sense. ;)

I personally think DL is more in-line to become the next Pan Am.

I'm not sure how DL thinks they have a chance for all these slots when they've been touting, since the acquisition of NW, that they are the largest carrier between the US and Japan.

They kind of shot themselves in the foot with that one.

Congrats CMike! I've got a bunch of clients in Philthydelphia that I've been putting off visiting. Is the du Pont a viable option as far as commuting? Google Maps says 36 minutes to Market St. BTW, how is your commute going to be from AC?

+1

Here's how I think it will go.

CO GUM-HND
HA HNL-HND x1
Random AA
Random DL/UA
