Yeah, and that was the Marriott Plat customer service line. Strange, though, that if I call the reservations line someone picks right up.

I have been to Mexico, but not to Mexico City. not been to the airport, so all new to me.
I doubt we'd have much issue, but agree safety is best, if they don't have an interior corridor I guess we just taxi there, or hope the train is still running. The Hilton has a shuttle to T2 in the mornings for folks departing. They recommend the airtrain (runs until 11pm), the buses (run until 1am) or taxis (reportedly what most guests use). Taxis run 100 pesos for a sedan or 170 for a van (depending on how many of you are traveling) - which shows the typical airport min taxi ride fare is in force in MEX too (e.g., taxis to Polanco are 170 for sedan...). |
Teh MR Deals forum is not giving me any love.

Hi Brit, I have your Cadburys. :)
To pass the goods, meet me on the corner at 4.07 precisely. I'll be wearing a trenchcoat, dark glasses, carrying a copy of The Times and will have a carnation stuck up my nose.....:D:D:D We shall have to have a Box-DO so that you can make the handover! Don't be tempted to eat them in the meantime ....:D |

I agree with sbm - walking is not a good idea. You'd be walking along the highway or a major thoroughfare which circles the airport or a connecting road with no sidewalks.

Someone above posted that the Hilton runs a shuttle between the terminals. Do you know if that is still operating for incoming flights? |

I only said walking being ignorant of the terminal situation, and have yet to find a full terminal map anyway.....so, we'd need a van taxi. Anyone have some Peso's already? :) I'll be renting a car in PTY for only twice the amount of taxi from terminal to the hilton... Would you be willing to give one of us traveling next weekend your number so one of us can call you if we get stuck? :) |
