I need to stop watching basketball and go get supper / beer. I saw several places selling Elk around here. @:-)

We used to have raspberry plants in the back yard in OH. Mom used to make the best fresh raspberry cheesecake...

One of these nights that I really hate my job for making me be in the middle of effing nowhere, and not where I need/want to be.

Glad they're OK, but that's awful news.

Yes. I'm so sorry to hear that. What a horrifying thing to go through. One of my overwhelming childhood fears...

CBS took me from OH v. Georgetown to Northern IA v. UNLV They did pretty good on the early games too (although the early games were much closer for the most part)

Local (BNA) CBS affiliate is sticking with East Tennessee / Kentucky as if it were Tennessee / Kentucky.

So do I. And it's one of those foods that's a great bang for your cooking buck at parties - i.e. it's actually pretty easy to make, but invariably quite high on the wow factor when people find out that it's homemade. :D Baked brie is another one of those.

I am considering trying to make fried cheesecake one of these days. A local restaurant makes a version and it is delish. I'm not expecting such good luck though..

Local pride ;)

Guess it's good now to be in a neutral area. But CBS did a nice job of switching things during the FL v BYU game when needed.

I am the world's worst and uncaring cooks but even I have made cheesecake. Yes it is easy to do when you follow that recipe on the side of the Philly Cream Cheese box. :D

Never have tried baked brie. I love brie so I bet I would love it baked.

For some reason I don't find fried cheesecake appealing.

OH is blowing this game against Georgetown by slowing the game down. Like the Browns, playing the Prevent (the Victory) Defense

Sorry to hear of your neighbors' home, belynch. Glad they were not hurt, though.

In other news, I have had a close encounter with several kangaroos. Photos to follow once I get back home.

Northern Iowa / UNLV is going to be a nail-biter first.
