I've had confirmation of mine for weeks now. Just need the $$$ in my account, that's all. I was expecting that to happen today, but over the weekend knew it wasn't going to. And when I asked all I got was a quote from the terms and conditions document on the plan, which basically says "Payment will be made whenever we get around to it." HR is now saying they expect it to be on or before March 31. That's fine, although I was really hoping to take care of some things with that money today.

Well I've received one unsolicited estimate for the removal of my tree. I can live with that price if they all come in like that. They are doing work at a neighbors. Strange thing is they aren’t tree surgeons but contractors. I’m sure they are renting the chipper as they have everything else. This would mean they’d have the equipment to lift up and haul away the stump part.

I see that we will soon be selling food on board. Can't say that I'm shocked but I was hoping this day wouldn't come. I just hope that we provide better items than UA's snack boxes. Ryan Air has a nice catalog of food that they sell ala carte. They even offer hot choices like hot dogs. If we're going that way we should look to the King of Ala Carte Changes for suggestions.

I spent last night looking at carousels of advanced bags. With each flight we had over 25+ left over bags. By the end of the evening we took maybe 4 claims and had 8 bags for people that ended up in SJC.

I'm off to another night at work soon.

Which would explain last week's conversation I had with the pseudo-boss:
