What is the relative priority of mileage upgrades vs. B-ups?

Miles win, though they are in different buckets.

A B-Up can be processed anytime there is ZE inventory. The mileage upgrade requires R inventory. If you are waiting for a EUA cycle then the miles are ahead of the B-Up because it is considered a paid F seat while the B-Up is still a Y seat.

As for the size, the 8830 isn't much bigger than an iPhone or Nexus One, and it's smaller than a Droid. The Pearl and Curve series BlackBerries are smaller than the 8830 is, but I don't know if those are available from Verizon or not.

She has a Curve, and the form factor isn't cutting it according to her. We're on a Verizon family plan.

Night, Box.

I think I've sold my box of assorted computer crap, along with our two old computers that have been sitting around here gathering dust. Got to love Craigslist. Now hopefully this guy shows up tomorrow between 12:00 and 1:00 like he says he's going to and takes this stuff off my hands.

Evening,Box.

What a  weekend. the weather was horrible. My town was really badly hit. We had dozens of really large trees fall all over town, roads were blocked, power cables down, houses badly damaged by falling trees, flooded roads. You name it, we had it.

Sadly, we woke up this morning to a flooded basement. All was OK last night when we went to bed. Sump pump was working. Some time during the night, the sump pump gave up the ghost. We had about 8" of water in teh basement this morning. All the stuff we had stored down there is sopping wet. Probably ruined. Apparently the insurance doesn't cover "personal property" that is damaged by water, only the damage to the physical property itself. Sucks big time. We had so much stuff stored in the basement here while waiting for the Lake House to be finished. :(

When are you going to be in town?

I recently applied for a FA position on EXJet. Got an email with the chance to interview. Only downside is they asked height and I am 2 inches taller than they request. We shall see where this goes.

When you go for the interview, slouch. :D

Hey, fozz, can you PM the details of that HOJO????. I need to stay at IAH overnight during a MR and want a cheap place close to the airport.

SY's service to STN will apparently be MSP-YQX-STN and not MSP-JFK-STN as several people originally thought. It's launching on June 11 with, get this, fares starting at $399+ each way.

I love Craigslist as well - got rid of all kinds of things (including a motorcycle, a number of lawnmowers, and violin) before moving to TN.

So sorry to hear - was this your interpretation of the policy or is this what the insurance company stated?

My April / May travel schedule is  - overlapped trips again (fortunately one is movable and the other refundable).

I'll be driving my lime green Gremlin, you're the 3rd house in the left, right?

That's part of the reason I only meet a Craigslist buyer in the building's lobby, and make the transaction there.

Will your company validate my parking or should we just forget the whole thing.

He then told me that my "enter the perro" post was the catalyst behind the change to BOB. Apparently the post was passed around Smith St. so much that upper management finally came to terms with the fact that they had "jumped the shark" on the whole free food thing. So, to all ya'll who will yearn for your turkey grenades and lust after a not-dog, my sincerest apologies.

And with that, I'm off to the gym.

The perro story is still one of my favorite posts ever.....Ms. GadFly thinks it's hilarious too!
