I was at a private event at Disneyland last Fall which had open bars scattered throughout the park. yadda yadda yadda Big Thunder Mountain Railroad takes on a whole new dimension in the dark whilst drunk. :-:

True...I suppose the Disney princesses not being very princess-like would be pretty cool, but my first thought was an attack of seven evil dwarfs.

Never mind, seven evil dwarfs is already out there. Little People Big World.

In the context of VZW, is the 9630 a meaningful upgrade over the 8830?

If the 9630 is the Tour then absolutely yes. If you can handle the wait the Tour 2 is supposedly due in a couple months but who knows if that is for real. The Nexus One also just shipped to VZW. I can't see why you'd be tied to BB so that might be worth considering. Then again, not a world phone if that matters to you.

Although I've only used my phone in three countries, I do appreciate the world phone capability.

Not a problem at Epcot.

This is pretty much par for the course. I'm not sure exactly why since there are a number of factors in play such as CO's pattern of selling more seats in front using coachUP fares, possibly proportionately fewer high status elites on DL due to the absence of DEQM on lower fare tickets, and many of DL airplanes configured with more FC seats than COs.

So I am mildly optimistic that this year, as a Diamond, I will do as well as last year when Platinum. I can't really do better than that 100%. :)

And aside from some more expansive schedules, the domestic elite upgrade is the only area where DL is superior.

I'm not saying one word more.

Okay, maybe just one. Poop.

Yikes. The LA Marathon is Sunday. I noticed some signs on my drive home that the course is nearby. GF noticed additional signs. Looking at the new course they are using this year, we will be nearly unable to access our place (coming home from Palm Springs) until late afternoon Sunday. I guess we will stay out at PSP well into the afternoon on Sunday.

That may be way too much 80 degree weather for a single weekend.
