I'm sure it will be just like the last one. Bus driver ran a red light. Actually, in nearly every case of something colliding with a light rail vehicle in Houston, a driver running a red light was involved.

Difference this time is that there are a number of injuries.

That's unfortunate. Yet another reason why red means stop and people should pay attention, regardless of whether there's a train or not.

I've blown off work for the rest of the day. Time to get this old computer stuff that's been sitting around my office for far too long listed on Craigslist and eBay.

Though nothing holds a candle to "hubby." :td:

Oddly enough, I can't stand the word "hubby" either.

My latest pet peeve is "data collection instrument." I heard 3 people toss out that phrase at least a dozen times in a meeting a couple of weeks ago. Uh, it's a SURVEY. Just call it a SURVEY.

I did not intend to spam. I deleted the original post (can you edit your quote?) I went to that site over an hour ago and got the hummingbird nest. Now, I click the link and it goes elsewhere.

Mass apologies all around. I'll go sit in the corner now.

No tr:rolleyes:jan. There are other folks having the same problem - they have the original link in one tab, and it's fine, but when they click the link in a separate tab, the redirection happens.

I've sold over $600 worth of stuff on there in the last 3 months. Over half of it was one cell phone, and another $65 was another phone.

I hope the IT department at my office doesn't track the amount of time I spend on this site, cause if they do, well, let's try not to think about the consequences...

FC is showing a few sub-$400 TATL fares to MAD, MXP, BCN, BRU and ARN, out of EWR for the last 2 weeks of March. I wasn't able to find any availability after a quick search, but figured I'd mention it in case they were of use to someone here...

I'm involved in a power struggle between my "boss" and my "pseudo-boss". Today I just told them to work it out without me, and until it is resolved by their boss, I'm not doing anything.

Instead, I just made a Maker's Manhattan. ^

Oh, and why's a CLE-EWR flight for next Monday almost 1K?

:)
