I might need to double that level of concern to 200k.

If you need more than 200k Hyatt GoldPassport to be comfortable (40 nights in Bali, Nepal, or Thailand), I don't know what to say. :D My 500k for SkyTeam USA is completely arbitrary but the 100k in Hyatt was a contrivance for almost a week in true luxury (pre-Diamond). Not to say I wouldn't like to have 200k Hyatt points sitting around ...........................

No, I just arrived in FRA for the star DO without any. Cost me 10 Euro at the local store for a half dozen pairs.

I noted that this afternoon -- probably 5-6 mods from boards other than Hyatt were posting.

Not to mention that during my early 2010 Hyatt running during FFN (OK ... "Next Big Thing"), I welcomed two non-Hyatt mods (staying at the same hotel) to my room at Hyatt Fair Lakes (Fairfax, VA) for generous servings of Woodford.

Worst case scenario, you know there are some who can front you plenty of miles.

I'm not too worried. I have a couple hundred thousand in other programs and plenty more being earnt all the time.

What do you find compelling about pro? Flight status notifications? I never understood the value proposition for upgrading.

Should I have received the 500 platinum amenity bonus points for The Westin, Princeville Hawaii, (a starwood vacation property)?

I have earning periods and spending periods, and much of the decision depends on the overall rates. At the end of the day, more is more...

If one's thinking "Von's is a grocery store", here's the place where I picked up the tab before M&S. I would be in trouble if there were a Von's in icurhere2-town. Both of us were appropriately scared of the $3.50 martini - icurhere2 went for beers that substitute as a meal while colpuck went for :rolleyes::rolleyes:

:D

My late father had about a 750k FF miles in 3-4 programs. I am still trying to reconcile how to deal with that part of his estate, about which teh executor isn't concerned. I want me some of those 400k CO miles. I may actually get on a CO flight this year.

We used the Delta miles to fly his GF home (one way) in first class ().

According to my GoldPassport account, I have only redeemed Hyatt points for stays at Park Hyatts
