No wine, port, or liquor (including Woodford Reserve or Woodford Reserve Masters Collection) per my Lenten resolution.

I acutally don't have enough miles in my OnePass account to book our trip to Scotland for this summer. I'm either going to tap into my wife's miles or do an AmEx transfer to top it off and make it happen. I'm not all that much short but it is somewhat spooky just how many of them I've been burning.

Worst case scenario, you know there are some who can front you plenty of miles.

Just don't be swayed by the bad, free after rebate stuff. ;)

I'm not buying Bud Light Lime again, if that's what you are referencing.

For the BD oracles - what's the closest I can get to RTW with $$$+miles in J with 50,000 miles? I'm presuming this would involve Pacific (rather than Atlantic) and I would be looking to throw SkyTeam USA miles to complete the routing and create a whiskey-tango-foxtrot openjaw ;)

I would be really concerned if I got below 100,000 Hyatt points - as mentioned previously, there are some international 5,000 point a night places I wouldn't mind getting lost at over the summer. Not to mention 18,000 gets one into any Hyatt anywhere in the world.

Woo hoo!^ I really need to look into where I might want to spend my Hyatt points -- I don't have anywhere near what you have -- just 50K!:) I'm thinking to go to Thailand (on my brother's suggestion) to finish up my dive certification!^ However, I have done zero trip research so far. Still trying to catch up on current things!:rolleyes:

My, you are disciplined!^ Although I am a Christian, I don't share those same practices.;)

I feel like I've had a really good & productive evening/night -- went to NIA class, then had a fire ceremony for the new moon!^ So I am physically & spiritually fit, now!^

Indeed. I cannot express enough just how great it is for trip planning and coordination, especially in situations like mine where multiple tickets, carriers, hotels, etc. are all in one itinerary. I've played with a few others but nothing comes close IMO, especially for free.

I like it so much decided to go pro

Was at EWR couple weeks with a GL350 parked out front for close to 30 minutes. Traffic guy was ok with it his first stroll past but took unkindly to it shortly there after. Wrote ticket, came back, still there, called hook

50,000 Hyatt points is a very good thing (especially for an elite - free internet). A recent quote in the Hyatt forum mentioned GoldPassport seemed to be the official program of FT moderators ^

I might need to double that level of concern to 200k.

Trust me - I won't even drink Corona or a hefeweizen (don't believe a beer should require fruit) yet Bud Light Lime was particularly foul for a cheaper-than-free beer.

I noted that this afternoon -- probably 5-6 mods from boards other than Hyatt were posting.

mnmag -- if rates are even in teh neighborhood of being reasonable, pay them. When the economy picks up, those points will* appreciate in value.
