Sounds kind of fun.

In reading an Aerogeek magazine this past week (Airliner World, or something like that), I also found out that Grupo SATA is taking on Q400s. I fear this may herald the end for BAe ATPs in passenger service. Guess I need to start looking into getting to the Azores.

Airliner World is a great magazine; I had a subscription for a number of years (and really should get a subscription again).

I've known more than one person who has won a decent amount of cash at an airport slot machine at LAS.

I've thought about getting a subscription to Airways or Airliner World, but they are quite expensive at ~$70/year. Have you seen any discount subscriptions?

Hi Box. Checking in from the Emory University Hospital ER. My partner seems to have a kidney stone. On top of that, we had a flat tire on the freeway a few hours ago. Hell of a way to spend a Saturday night.

:(
Sorry to hear this.

I think a s/o was a few hundred there once when we were delayed a few years ago. ^

I have an uncle who won about $3000 there just before his family's WN flight was due to board. They were flying SEA-MAF with a stop at LAS along the way. They ended up missing their flight home and having to overnight in Vegas but it was worth it. They were also returning home from a trip where they stayed with relatives and flew on aware tickets, so he actually made money off of that vacation.

This chair in the ER is getting very, very hard. Someone call TWA Fan's chiro for me.

Partner's pain is better thanks to drugs. We're waiting on bloodwork and CT scan results now.

Sorry to hear about your partner's stone. I've heard it's very painful. Ouch. Crappy Saturday night indeed.

He described it as the worst feeling he's ever experienced.

The worst part was dealing with a flat tire in a median just off the freeway while he was in pain. The guy is a real trooper and insisted on helping me with the tire despite how awful he felt.

No. The lying whore promised me a subscription for my birthday last year, but it never came through. Yet another  to add to the tally.

Good morning, Box. Woke up to gunshots off in the distance this morning. I wonder what's in season. Just took a chilly walk in the 30's. I liked yesterday 60's better.
