Thank you. Got very lucky with timing. Street lamp had just come on, lighting up the red dirt, bridge lights had come on, and sunset was still doing its thing (along with teh moon).

ETA - I didn't intend to take this shot, and was ticked off that I had just missed a flock of parrots that I wanted a picture of, then spotted this on my way back to teh hotel.

The dept manager asked me about tickets and fares for a conf in LAS that he needs to go to. He was finding $577 r/t for ewr-las in Aug. I told him to wait and keep checking the prices. The kettle I work with who travels once a year to LAS chimed in about how that is a good price for August, but if he could leave a day earlier, he could get it for $559 rt.

I think the boss asked me for my input for a reason. :-:

So anyone interested in doing a EWR-BRS run before the flight goes away?

If I could same-day it I would.

Ding ding. I really want to be in the fantasy league and I can't travel...preservation of vacation time for the wedding and honeymoon. Apartment is too small to host everyone, but I could coordinate if we did NJ/Philly area.

We could always do Philly for nightlife and look into holding the draft in a conference room at my employer.

Just had to listen to a story of a relative of my best friend that almost died from Epstein Barr (mono bug) and is still touch and go after a BMT. Was a healthy 20 y.o. only 2 weeks ago. At least a brother was an exact BMT match.

You don't want to deal with walking up the hills of Bristol? And you'd be so close to hippy land in Glastonbury.
