Good Evening Box, greetings from the Westin Forrestal in Princeton. So much for being home this week.

Actually it was my choice to stay down here instead of commuting from Hoboken all week. I'm conducting the training for our new contract trainers in our new digs in South Brunswick. The conference room here is bigger and it's cheaper to have 25 people stay down here rather than in NYC.

Hello from 10 minutes north of you.

I stayed there once (late night flight into EWR followed by morning meeting nearby) and was upgraded into a club room -- for six hours. Hotel seemed nice enough. The nearby shopping center/office complex is deader than Holland Cruise Line's clientele.

Forrestal Village has been that way for years!

Got home a little while ago from car dealer. They were able to take mine in right away, and the repair is complete. It saved me a rental car day and some time tomorrow. ^

No no -- I totally understand!;) I'm not sure you could really be doing anything more for her, at this point!:(

I don't doubt it. I stopped there for lunch once on the way to or from a meeting and haven't made that same mistake a second time.

I had to skip UA itin to Asia and getting the 744 on the way back just because for any reasonable cost they would not route me on anything but a 777 out of ORD in C, i refused to take that.

The place it's modeled after is way, way, way more successful. Quincy Market in Boston.

How long ago was that? Traffic these days is always !

It was a while ago but nowadays I do it once in a while for meetings and it does not seem any better or worse. IMO, the EZ-Pass also makes quite a lot of difference.

You are going against the traffic and the Tpke moves nicely southbound in the AM rush. If you pop off onto Rte 1 at E. Brunswick you are fine since 1 is only heavy northbound thru S. Brunswick and W. Windsor in the AM and southbound in the PM.

In the PM rush the only bottleneck (unless you travel without EZ-Pass) is the 1/2 mile Rte 18 turnoff to the Tpke but if that is really bad you can move up 1 to 287 and jump on the NJT at exit 10.

I once had a co-worker, the non-traveling type, who thought the $49 flights he was getting from ACY to Florida on NK were so wonderful. He was fond of commenting on how I and others in my department were "foolishly wasting" the company's money by flying CO, UA et al. OF course his enthusiasm for NK waned after he spent his vacation at ACY after NK CXLd his flight and were unable to reaccomodate him.

I had that procedure done a couple years ago. Definitely an interesting sensation, having someone banging away on your teeth like he's working under the hood of '73 Impala.

I hear what you're saying! I just think that for someone who is not used to commuting by car -- it would get 'old' very quickly to be having to do that drive -- even temporarily!
