How does one get a Diamond Match/Trial/Challenge with Hyatt? I'm thinking of trying them out (made my 25 stays with SPG, am cleaning out my HHonors account soon, and like teh Hyatt promo).

There's a thread over in GP world - I think you would have to send a statement to go from 0 to Diamond (but they are more than happy to give you Plat without question).

Bummer.

I managed to get my first UA EUA for this weekend on LGA-MSP-ORD. :)

Now, i'm hoping I get an EUA on my GEG run since i'm on a three-cabin plane... F on an international 763 will be nice even if it's only for ORD-DEN.

Call & ask for 'Diamond Trial' (or maybe 'Instant Plat'?) -- & then you should be given instant Diamond with the requirement of 15 nights within 180 days. You could probably get a match from SPG -- in any case, if you want Diamond until Feb. 2012 -- you'll want 'diamond fasttrack'.

Yep, it rather unfortunate for me -- but will just have to do a Hyatt stay, in any case!;)

Cool on UA EUA! GL on an EUA for GEG!^

I've tried Chopin and must agree. Ketel One is just about as good as it can get. Goose and Belvedere are up there too.

Good Evening Box, greetings from the Westin Forrestal in Princeton. So much for being home this week.

Actually it was my choice to stay down here instead of commuting from Hoboken all week. I'm conducting the training for our new contract trainers in our new digs in South Brunswick. The conference room here is bigger and it's cheaper to have 25 people stay down here rather than in NYC.

I'm hoping to get an SDC or VDB on my flights back to BNA to avoid the Barbie Jets :D

I changed the S/O's reward ticket from EWR-HKG plan B BF waitlist to EWR-IAD-PEK-HKG in C on UA and Air China. What is UA's business class like on their 777?

mnmag Apr 6, 2010 7:51 pm

Glad to hear they're making a recovery. I had no idea that EB could be that bad. My doctor informed me that I have it (apparently a lot of people do).
