One learns something new every day. I knew there was a Dunkin' and a methadone clinic around the corner, but not a Marriott property. @:-)

Even if you have a history of doing this from time-to-time, that's completely tactless on the staff's behalf.

Tactless would be an understatement.

31 weeks. Meh. Talk to me when you're at 29 years. :D

Morning, Box. Fiancee was shocked to learn that I know how to do laundry.

In other news, Half.com was kind to me. I paid $110 for a textbook, just unloaded it for $72. Beats the $38 offer that I cancelled.

Just confirmed my first lunch secret shop at Longhorn too. All of this before coffee cup #1.

Not a netbook. ;)

J&R has the various Toshibas in stock. Looks like I'm going shopping after the doctor today.

I used to buy/sell some books on Half.com, even once sold a book for more than I paid after purchasing the wrong version. Not permitted to sell books now (Conflict of Interest).

Yeah, the complete absence of tact is in the ballpark of how awful that was on the hotel's part. My first thought to the night audit person at the front desk was to say "Admit that you screwed up massively, and there MIGHT not be a certified letter to your GM and their boss."

After how many polite requests to unsubscribe from a given vendor's mailing list is it appropriate to start emailing back the word "unsubscribe" but now hyphenated with expletives inserted?

By who's definitions? Microsoft's? I would say it's a good thing it isn't one then.

Haz-ing internets at Dr.'s office is so much better than reading five year old copies of magazines.

AA's 757s are going through a retrofit aren't they?

The aircraft themselves might not be that old, but they are probably beat to hell on the inside.

Well, if you are in NJ at the end of June you can always drive 75-80 minutes down 202 and 95 and see the Tribe play the Phillies with me.

That is quite the commercial for downtown Wilmington.

For the true experience, you should read five year old copies of magazines on the Internet. @:-)
