Ditto here. I've got a few and if someone wants them, PM me. I'll not be able to use them this year.

That really sucks. Makes me glad I didn't take the bump I had a chance to take a few weeks ago on them.

Do you remember the ex-Ozark TW DC-9s that had those weird vertical slats between the interio curvature of the fuselage and the window seat footwell/foot area? I do not recall having been on any other DC-9s with that feature on any other carrier. Not sure whether that was unique to Ozark or what.

No, sadly I don't. I flew some TW DC-9s but I don't remember anything like that.

I found that you need to use sbm12's domain, and whatever you requested on other site will work, he did not mail to confirm it, but I sent a test mail and it worked just fine, then confirmation mail came when I joined the group.

I will try to find a photo of that from my most recent trip on one (literally 20 years ago).

I tried all that. I never got the e-mail from TripIt to do the final step of joining the group.

Just checked out their website. Most of their rooms are standard rooms. That's just one of the junior suites.

Hmmm... they do have three floor plans. This is the second or third time I have seen this layout this year. I really wanted the room with the tub but they said no go. I did get free breakfasy even though I double dipped per the front desk!

BTW, this room is similiar to the rooms one finds in Embassy suites but no door to back portion. Basically a seating area with computer desk and TV. back room has bed and TV.

Would your work email filter this to junk mail by any chance?

Yep, that's the standard HGI Junior Suite layout. Almost identical to an Embassy Suites room, minus the wall and door between the bedroom and living room. Consider yourself upgraded.

It shouldn't. And if it did, I'd get a notice of that. Anything that gets filtered shows up on a report I get so that I can release it on the server if it's not junk. It's not in my local junk e-mail folder either.

WWTBD? Upstairs/Downstairs? After about 6-7 schedule/plane changes, I seem to be scheduled on a UA 744, SFO-ORD. 2 questions, it's an award ticket(XF) and with this last change, it plopped me in C as opposed to F. Is that right? The seat map is empty(I know, not accurate:D) - I picked a seat on the upper deck but I've read a few times that they'll close the upper deck if the flight is empty. Should I just pick a seat on the lower deck so I don't have to worry about that, or doesn't it really happen often enough to be concerned?

Just booked an awesome reward trip on the first try:

UA DFW-LAX A319
TG LAX-BKK A345
TG BKK-SGN A320
OZ HAN-ICN B767
SQ ICN-SFO 77W (the new cabin!)
UA SFO-DFW CR7

Add at least 2 segments on Vietnam Airways that I will pay pennies for, and that's my summer trip -- 65k and $47 for Y...save the miles by riding in the back of arguably the best coach cabins in the industry -- thank you ANA website for wasting my weekend. WHOOP!

Go for the upper deck; if they try to reseat you to close the section, ask to be moved to F. ^
