mwg25, feel free to join if you feel like; will forward you the PM I sent earlier. Steve and Brit both showed interest as well.

I saw a fare of $265 all in for the 9th. Is that what you paid?

I may have to tag along. The more, the :rolleyes:ier.

It wouldn't surprise me, given the alignment with UA, but the sourcing was a bit ... suspect.

I have a few doubts, mostly due to the new lie flat BF retrofit, they have already sent these in for the changes, and it would be an added cost to send them back. Logically they would have done it all at the same time, yet they are not coming out with that from the shop.

I am somewhat wondering if CO e+ will be akin to EU 'business' with an open middle seat.....i.e. width over pitch.

Good , box. IND-IAH-MAF today. "B" Club around noonish, if anyone is there.

I suppose that depends on the maintenance cycle. All one has to do is yank out a row or two of Y and rejigger the remaining seats. It's not like the seats are being replaced.

using width instead of pitch gives them a dynamic factor however, it can be the first two rows and exit rows on one flight, or it can be sardine can on another :)

I have been trying to go back to sleep, no luck. I really need this weekend retreat.

If you just need email then Exchange is not the best product. When you look at a fully integrated groupware environment there are only a couple options out there and Exchange is hard to beat on many levels, both client and server.

And once you've committed to Exchange there is nothing better than BES for mobile integration. There just isn't. And the IOPS impact is worth mentioning but not enough to take away from that. Just spec the hardware appropriately and you're fine. The incremental costs to support those needs are so low per-user across a large implementation that it really doesn't matter too much.

I had no idea that I'd touch off another group MR. :D

Other than being forced into ordering Half and Half, the biz lunch sounds truly divine...Caesar, Chicken Parm, and Key Lime pie. Yummeh.

1. Sure I will agree to that, but I dislike groupwares normally, I understand their need in some orgs.

2. BIS also has this issue, with IMAP sync they open 100s(even just for 1-2 phones) of connections to IMAP making a mess. This wasn't so much an issue till all the phone companies started bundling it free and its become  trying to keep them in line on IMAP connections now.

Yup...any company with more than about 5 people that actually want to be able to easily coordinate benefit from such tools. You might not like them but they really do change the way an organization works - for the better - when introduced.

But I was talking about the proper implementation via BES. ;) For an Exchange implementation shouldn't the BIS users be using the OWA/OMA/WebDAV integration anyways?
