Pretty impressive.

I'm about 70% of the way to Silver at the end of this week. Platinum is still months away at this rate. I've got far too many weeks I'm only doing ATL-IAH-ATL this year. At less than 1,400 miles round-trip, it's a very slow way to earn status.

Nothing's worse than a bunch of slobbish guys at work who trash the restroom for no reason at all.

The restrooms in the office building I work in when at my Louisiana client are so disgusting that I'll hold it for hours rather than go in there. A coworker joked with me one time he would rather use an empty water bottle than use the men's room in that building. Sad thing is they clean it daily.

LOL!!! My traveling companion for the weekend said the same thing after learning he and I were upgraded to MEX!! It should be an interesting weekend!!

So, my corporate event on 3/11 goes to 7:30 (the last 3 hours are a wine tasting). I will need to get back to midtown before meeting anyone caring to come into NYC. I arrive at EWR on 3/9 at 5:30 and can meet earlier if that works better for folks. I was told today that my corporate event will be a drink-fest! :cool:^:-:

I have quite differing opinions indeed. I felt that the property was overpriced and very tired. That was 4 years ago. The hotel was really run down, IMO.

The fountains are great but I actually think that they are viewed better from lower down, not from up high. The aura is somewhat lessened by seeing the spouts as they operate, I think.

The bottle of whiskey would bother me, too, though I suppose I could just have a bottle of vodka instead. ;)
