Oh, yeah, I forgot to write that one up.

This  was a short, fat, incredibly white guy who clearly thought he was something special, complete sagging pants, a straight brimmed White Sox baseball cap, sunglasses, three shirts on (one was a button up that wasn't buttoned), popped collar, and two sets of headphones hanging off the back of his fat little head.

He began with loud conversations on his phone after the 1L door was closed and we were taxiing to LGB RWY 12 for takeoff. He was talking to one of his bros in AUS about how he needed to go get some Julio (assume he was talking about Don Julio tequila) or, "some dat Goose!" And he encouraged his fellow douche to, "find some girls, yeah, so we can do it up tonight, son."

Another pax explained to him that he needed to have his phone off, and he proceeded to yell at her, and I quote, "DON'T F'ING TELL ME WHAT TO DO. IF YOU SPEAK TO ME AGAIN I WILL SUE YOU! MY UNCLE IS A LAWYER!"

My wife and I 'd to each other and I turned around and glared at this butthorn while one of the girls in the seats behind us said, "Dude, shut the F up." He pouted like a little b!tch for a while and that was the last we heard out of him until we got to SFO. He almost missed the SFO - AUS leg because he was a moron and thought the world revolved around him so he didn't need to check the gate for his next flight assignment. I knew that the plane that did our LGB - SFO leg would be the same plane that did SFO - AUS because I, unlike this example of why some people shouldn't have kids, am not a moron.

He was thankfully quiet for the SFO - AUS leg and a moment of high comedy came as we were moving from the gate in AUS down to baggage claim. One of the stores was selling colored marbles in a display case. He stopped and was marveling at them, going on about how f'ing beautiful they were. The pr!ck was an enigma.

In any event, I was glad to be done with the situation and not have it escalate.

I just entered a few flights and pushed PBFM2010 over the 100k mark. When do the SWUs post? ;)

Yeah, my parents have an acre and that was a pain to take care of. Our yard is much, much smaller and more manageable. My wife has also announced that she will be helping out if only so she can learn how to mow a yard. Apparently she never had a yard in PHX. :D:eek::rolleyes:

I believe I need a beverage.

Are those short hops just for fun or are you spending any time there?

Going to the first round of the NCAA Women's Tournament.

We had an acre with hardly any flat areas. About 20 feet away from the back of the house the yard just drops. The lot my parents' house is on was apparently the side of a hill, which was leveled off in front to build the house, but the backyard has several areas that are rather steep. And, that theme continues on both sides of the house. We eventually got a riding mower, but for most of the time I was growing up, we just had a push mower. It was a lot of yard to mow, and the incline on three sides of the house just made it worse.

Here's my random prediction: CO will start to charge for all alcohol in the PC as UA does.

I dont think this will be the case. I understand that we are to get two drink coupons upon entering a UA Club as CO Pc members. I havent gotten firm confirmation of this but was told by a UA RCC person this information.

I've kinda had this suspicion for a while. I'm really hoping that, if they're going to make such a change, they do it before August so I can figure out if I want to renew my Priority Pass or not.

I think they will stay te course. CO has moved into the the pay for all model in the past and it did them a dis-service. COVA has mentioned this before somewhere!

I might just have enough miles once done with the ones from the upcoming team challenge and all to make tis happen!!

I think it will go the other way and UA will eventually be free. Come on, even US went to free booze... :)

The other scenario I could potentially see would be to meet in the middle (and match US) by offering free beer and wine while charging for the hard stuff.

UA will cave in!!

I hope so too. I actually drink a lot less alcohol in the PC than I used to — heck, I visit the PC maybe twice a month now. Gone are the days I'd arrive at the airport early to hang out in there for an hour or two, or go to the airport just to go to the PC. There was a time when I'd go there if working from home just to hang out and get work done someplace other than the apartment. Regardless of my decreased use of the PCs, I still appreciate having the free alcohol as an option if I really want it.

I get my moneys worth at the PCs still. I miss not having an option here in BNA for the morning outbounds but it isn't too bad.

And given you've booked yourself on the milk run (the 734-Combi, correct?), that's not the direction booked in F ...

ssullivan Mar 17, 2010 10:18 am

Yesterday's gorgeous weather in Atlanta has turned into gray clouds today. I think that's part of why I feel so blah today.

I helped, by adding the shortest segment todate.
Anything for that ?

Dont know if you will have time to do it or not. If you go to TalKeetna you could land on a glacier! It is very cool although a bit pricey. Ask for a discount! I got a %50 one when I asked!
