You were looking at a mid-size SUV, correct? Cartman voice: Seriously, I would be reconsidering.

The 32mpg has me hooked. I drive 75-80 miles a day and no other SUV comes close. We were joking today that as soon as the order gets accepted, the factory will shut down to retool for the 2011's.:D

After a trip to B&N, my wishlist is back up to 26 items. Most additions were business and leadership and/or process improvement books, given that process improvement was a large part of how I marketed myself to get this job. Might as well do some real reading on the topic.

Meh...

Don't get me wrong - $8,250 is a good chunk of change - but there is also an opportunity cost to giving up things like teaching in Korea instead of in Tennessee. Sortof like drinking crappy beer just because you got it for free after rebate. Doesn't necessarily mean it is the right decision. ;) :p

Been looking at my course schedule lately? :D

Evening Box.

I'm quite anxious about the next 48 hours. Other half is being flown someplace tomorrow evening for a day of interviews Friday at a major company that is courting him. It's looking like a move may be in our near future. And I feel like I'm not yet completely unpacked and settled from the last move almost two years ago.

You misread - I only agreed to teach this course if I could do the course in Korea (if my proposal is accepted).

I don't blame you. I dislike moving. Is the new place of employment better for you in terms of living conditions/travel/etc? Should I keep my fingers crossed that your better half gets the job?

Also, this is indeed more than two months' pay on my base year-round contract.

Bright side? A move gets you away from ATL by definition  Best of luck.

Haha. I have a few historical book choices that I still have to read, but after that I'm making a turn into business mode.
