One set for the outbound; one for the return. Maybe an extra pair of drawers if you're planning on having too much fun in PTY but I doubt that is likely to happen. ;)

They did Ok by me in JFK, too. By which I mean I got the upgrade. I have no idea what shenanigii were pulled. :p

I lost the luck of the draw and had to operate the smelliest car I have ever sat in.

A personal episode of unmitigated audacity did much to improve the environs in said vehicle. :o

Looking for a point-and-shoot camera use to be so much easier. Picking my first one (Canon A70) was easy compared to now. I have the feeling my next one will not be a Canon.

Posted by me in the DL forum, with regards to DL's apparent renege on benefits promised by SkyMilesInsider:

The CNN ticker:

"Official: Pilot deliberately flew into Texas building."

I didn't know that Larry King was a headline writer.

Really? I love the Powershot line. Lots to choose from at every price point.

I tend to take a backpack of clothes in case the opportunity for an overnight VDB happens. If you're going to explore PTY and the Canal, you'll definitely want one change right there.

Something doesn't seem right about the new PowerShots. I'm considering the SD940 but the few photos taken with it seem dark around the edges and color seems to be non vibrant, very un-Canon like. The size is right.

I will miss the flip out display and optical viewfinder on my A610

I have the inexpensive Samsung SL30 - takes some decent photos but the flash settings are a true pain in low light conditions.

Yes, a change after seeing PTY and Canal....and bring a cheap washcloth, too. The PTY club does NOT have showers, but does have a handicapped bathroom with a door that locks and plenty of space. After I toured PTY, I scrubbed the essential parts - taking care around the BBDS - then changed clothes. I meant to start a thread about that - we need to get a shower installed at the hottest "hub" in the CO network.

I picked the SD1000 years ago specifically because it also had the optical viewfinder and I never use it. I'm not sure why. On my SLR, I turn the live video view off because on that, for some reason, I have to use the optical viewfinder.
