Shouldn't your  be directed at ATC?

I am poor at determining altitude above my place. But, I'm guessing it's a few thousand feet ASL.:mad: Are they trying to show off their planes to CO World HQ (which is about 1 mile from me)??

Seems HOU got buzzed at least twice by a certain CO flight

I am almost over my curling hangover. We are off to OC shortly for dinner and a Hyatt stay tonight.

I'm about 5 miles from the airport on the glide path so if you're 1 mile away they must be quite a bit lower than that.

I'm actually 1 mile away from your boss - CO's HQ. :D I'm probably about 8 miles away from HOU, and wheels are not down. Though, they are in the middle of a turn when they are over my house, I'm guessing once they straighten out to the runway, they lower the gear.

I guess so. But, since I have not seen/heard other carriers flying over my house, I'll direct my  to Cattle/Kettle Express.

If you're in the approach, are you close enough to have the house modified for sound dampening?

I'm at 15 at the moment with more than 10 months left in the year. No problem at all.

Didn't go to the main page today. I echo these sentiments.

I've had nightmares similar to this.

Not a chance I'll find a cheap flight to HNL.

Right now I'm leaning towards flying into PHX and showing her Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Vegas (), and then use PSP as a jumping off point for Joshua Tree, Mojave, etc. That might be an overly ambitious trip for a week if we actually want to enjoy it but I can noodle around with the itinerary.

that is a LOT for one week! PSP, with a day trip to LAX and SAN, but otherwise, just laying by the pool and soaking in hte relaxation sounds like a terrific plan!
