I like the new start menu UI. Other than control panels being all messed up (and I got around that) I don't notice enough truly different to matter. Then again, I generally use about 6 apps total and everything else is Win-R and the run command pops right up. I have pretty simple needs and I find that it meets them quite well. I also think that the performance is actually better with Win7 on my NetBook than XP was.

I just returned from a lunch meeting with a service provider. Said provider flew his Cirrus SR20 from San Diego. I met him at SMO and we went out to lunch. We walked back to his plane and chatted while watching the takeoffs/landings. Not a bad way to spend a Monday. ^
