Thus endeth my 4,000th post on FT.

That's an impressive number^

Some how I managed to get Gold Hilton status through 3/12 so I'm thinking of changing my charge patterns to get me to the 1M AA mark. I do like multiple way to earn miles with them. (hope this ok to say under a Continental thread)

OK you people who know Basketball any suggestions of who will make it to the Final Four 2010 NCAA men's section and save me searching to even figure out who is playing?

Did I figure out 4 teams that would be playing with these?

Kentucky, Duke, Syracuse, Ohio State

Yeah, engineering titles for people who aren't engineers are rampant in the technology fields. Like I said, I've always been an engineer, but not really.

Yeah...not everyone here collect CO as a primary (or even secondary) program.

What's the ratio from HH to AA? And how many points do you need to get there?

I've only gone the AA:HH which is 2 to 1 + $'s and certainly I like have a couple of hundred K HH points socked away. I've been very creative in the last few years averaging 30K AA miles/yr with minimal charges. I'm only in the high 700K area so it's not a short term task.

I had well over 100K CO before I sent them to the Amtrak laundry.

why oh why must I do all the work for these companies?

1) so I just had to call Wyndam because my two stays in San Diego (for the 4K CO miles) didn't post to my account. The representative on the phone couldn't find them. After giving him tons and tons of info he found them. Was dumbfounded as to why they didn't post. He says they are there now. We shall see.

2) CO consistently posts incorrectly my bonuses for opening a new checking. I contacted onepass last Thursday to alert them to the bonus being posted for the incorrect amount. Today I got this response. classic...
Dear Mrs. Heim:

Thank you for contacting the OnePass Service Center.

We are unable to assist you with Chase account-specific inquiries. Please call Chase Customer Service at the phone number located on the back of your card.

Regards,

Lyn Robinson
OnePass Service Center
I really REALLY don't think that by calling the number on my card the miles will be corrected.

OH -- and it gets better. Just calleed the OPSC on the phone to see if I could clear it up with someone live. "your wait time will be 25-30 minutes"

  :td:

ETA: BTW, I just emailed them AGAIN with the same exact email. I hope I get a competent rep to answer my email this time.

If you ever take the train between NY and BOS or DC, you should look into using CO points as AGR points. NE Corridor tix are 3k points each way -- quite a bargain IMHO.
