The Conrad. This is actually the first time I've turned the TV on since I've been here. Half my channels are blank, so maybe there's some problem with it.

Going to try this sleep thing again, I can still get 2-3 hours. |
Very kewl. The LAN Peru booking I made on LAN.com, which I added my Executive Club number to, is visible when I log in to BA.com.

Two and a half pounds to go before I'm Wii Fit enabled. Drank enough water and moved around at work enough in the last 48 hours to drop three pounds in that time.

The degrees of my direct coworkers are all over the map — mine is in Psychology. Lots in Accounting, Business, Finance, Psychology, Sociology, Computer Science/Programming… but most of us ended up in the job we have more based on work experience, interests, and passion about working in the industry we're in (technology services specifically targeted to the higher education sector).

At least in Texas the number of lights that pollute is steadily decreasing. For over 15 years now, any new streetlight installations provided by the Texas Department of Transportation are required to be full cutoff fixtures. Those are fixtures that direct all light downward, and none upward. There are still tons of the older polluting fixtures out there, and counties and cities in many cases aren't following the state's lead, but at least those on state-maintained roadways are increasingly becoming non-polluting fixtures.
