I feel sorry for the 200 people that were left that lost their jobs including a couple people I know but good riddance to that company as it represented everything that's wrong with my industry.

I had a fun chat on Facebook with a friend from HS! It's so interesting to hear about people's lives -- many years later!:eek::cool: His wife travels a ton for work & they get to go to cool, exotic places w/the miles -- he's a surfer!:cool:

Just a quick update before bed:
I was called a player tonight!! That felt kinda cool. I am not one but still kinda neat to get called that. No word from Express Jet. I sent an email asking to get scheduling time for an interview to take place a week from today, involving travel to IAH. No work back yet on other job leads. Tomorrow I will send a note to yesterdays interview thank him for time and looking forward to hearing about next interview. Will do the same with lead from Monday evening. good Night john Boy!! |
