Canuck and I stayed at the Sheraton La Jolla a year and a half ago right after the rebranding to Sheraton. We were treated very well and thought it was a great value for the price paid (under $100/night). Yes, it's rather motel-ish with the layout, but the rooms, service, and amenities were nice.
