G'day box. Trying to stay on EST this trip so I've been up for about 90 minutes just 'ing around.
Steph3n, yeah, there were about a dozen TSA guys as well as the Houston police officer conducting the security theater. I left the PClub about 10 minutes before the inbound showed up and they were all standing around. It was redonkulous. In other news, I found an unattended segway outside the bookshop near the E PClub entrance and I almost stole it. In regards to my "colon-blow" post from last night, I forgot to add in the introduction that I'm just a regular guy. Curse posting whilst tired. |

Thought about it but it is tough for us to get down to IAH that quickly after getting off of work and whatnot on Friday afternoon.

Ooooffff. Last 36 hours have been crazed. Not even gonna try and catch up (did I miss anything earth-shattering).
First rehearsal in NYC last night for a new program. Went pretty well, especially considering how  my level of preparation actually was... Just finished giving my (only, thank goodness) final exam - I'll be writing grade comments for the rest of the week and cursing my life. Also, STILL no spring break decisions. At this point I'm seriously looking at sitting on my couch for 2 weeks or paying whatever the market rate is for a trip to CLE. Any good deals out there on same-day midweek transcons these days? |
ARGHHHHHHHHH. Just noticed there's a dark burgundy stain on the comforter of my bed consistent with dried blood.
It was on the under side, right where I was sleeping. I'm usually pretty good about pulling the sheets back to check for that, but I was so exhausted last night that I figured since the hotel is only 5 days old, I just I turned off the lights and crawled into bed. Teach me to be a . ewwwwwwwwwwwww |

As a non-Plat, however, it may be one of the better options in terms of standard room amenities and location. If Plat, then W Poydras is a sure bet (almost always get corner suites). |

Only worth it if you get a ground-floor carriage-house room (has a private back-yard and jacuzzi). They only have two. :-:

Guess what day it is....
Good morning to all of you. I felt that it was super important that I share today with all of you....does anyone know what is sooooo special about today??? Think, One Fish...Two Fish.... (That's a really good clue!)
It is........... Read Across America Day......celebrating the birthday of Dr Seuss born on March 2, 1904! Ok, I feel I have given my Public School Awareness Announcement and promoted literacy. I have to go back to work now. Have a spectacular...diffendoofer day!!:-: |

More importantly, it's Texas Independence Day ;) I will celebrate by drinking a Lone Star and putting out this flag:
