I made the mistake of taking a nap yesterday when we got home from the hospital, and following that up with Diet Coke at dinner to prop myself back up for the evening. As a result my sleep schedule is really screwed up. Landing in Houston tonight around 8:00 PM, and then having to stay up and make the drive to Nacogdoches this evening isn't going to help.

At least this appears to be a fairly easy week at work for me. I'm at a client with another consultant, and this is mostly her show, with me there for backup and added perspective.

My fiancee's uncle works for Carrier. He was somehow privy to a contract for the renovation involving the rework of the HVAC of a chunk of the ship. Why would a WWII vintage ship need tons of modern HVAC gear? Lots of computing power. According to him, who got as far as seeing the very formidable cipher lock on the door to the renovated area and has friends who signed NDA's so as to be cleared to do the install work, it's nothing short of a Situation Room in there.
