I'm sure Obama has been waiting at the signing table with pen in hand since the bill passed last night. :)

Have they fixed it? Last time I tried to use it wouldn't pull a bunch of airline/hotels including Delta. So, I gave up.

Awardwallet.com looks interesting, though I don't like the idea of putting all my logins on a website.

I can think of far more deserving museums...

Uhhh, isn't that the same concorde that was parked in Brooklyn and the kids were playing basketball against it?

Quick Hello, then Good Night. I'm feeling a lot better today, even managed to eat a little rice tonight for dinner.

Thanks for the tip, I just joined so I'm going to do past itins at some point. However it's a strange mileage figure it's giving me now. My current trip ORD-IAH-NRT is the first trip I've done in TripIt. I'm not sure where it's getting 1421 mi from. Even if, for some reason, it's not recognizing IAH-NRT, ORD-IAH is not even close to 1421mi.

The nose cone was torn off at one point because it was hanging over the fence enclosing the aircraft.

Besides, the Intrepid itself is not really a museum anymore. If you go there now, you'll notice that the ship is a lot cleaner and visually nicer, but there was no renovation done that is for the public to see. The real "renovation" was the installation of a command bunker as a fallback for another attack on NYC.

The real issue there are a couple of items that can't be downsized that easily. For one person it's no problem. For two people, trying to get it in a single baggie is a little tight. That's even with sharing things like toothpaste, deodorant, etc.

Anyway I've pretty much resigned myself to having to check it. I'm looking at his pile of clothes for next weekend, which isn't much, and I know that if I pack the bare minimum for work this week for me, his stuff will fill the bag before I even toss in the bare minimum for me next weekend.

We've got a slightly complicated travel week in that I'm leaving today, flying to Texas working there, and then going to DC Friday afternoon. We'll be there for the weekend apartment hunting *just in case*, as well as seeing a few people.

Early Friday morning my partner flies to DC for a final job interview, which he has to go straight from the airport to the office for. We'd really prefer he didn't have to carry anything other than his small leather messenger bag. I'm coming with the clothes and other things for the weekend. Hence the need for it to all go with me.

This is literally the only weekend we could both be in DC for the next 4 or 5 weeks, and this job prospect looks very promising. So, we need to go looking for a place to live in DC should an offer come this weekend. Otherwise, we won't have time to get it done. That way, if he gets an offer and we're moving, we can just get a lease on one of the places we've already looked at.

I have a feeling April is going to be rather crazy at our house.

Target has them and sometimes, Bed Bath and Beyond. For supplies, BBB is great as you can use the 20% off coupons and if they don't have them in store they will mail them to you.

then you buy it and still have an electric face massager that leaves too much behind :D

I'm finding training the acquiring company to do my job is about the most unpleasant task I've been assigned at work. I'm not really motivated to "kick a$$" to get this done faster although there are a few people I'd like to kick.

I agree. I object to the celebrating because there's still another legislative hurdle to overcome.

(Brazil is looking better and better. I really don't care to have any more dealings with the society that depresses me in general, but I'll settle for finding someplace on the planet that has a shred of remaining common sense.)
@:-) If the idea of universal health care does not appeal to you, you might wish to find a different country to plan to relocate to. Brazil has universal health care. ;)

Depends greatly on the appliance. I have one that works better for me than any traditional blade does.

I had to point that out to a cousin on Facebook who has been saying she's moving to Canada the day after this thing is signed by the President.

Have you looked at the state of health care in Switzerland? It's compulsory. You must buy it. In fact, most other countries in the world manage to insure everyone. Other countries think we're crazy for having so many disagreements about doing the same.
