I wonder which is worse: lunacy or stupidity. I suppose what we call "stupidity" is often ignorance, and the ignorant can be taught. The nutty tend to remain nutty, IMO.

I didn't status match. I have CO PPMC and you get Hyatt Platinum with that, so I called up and asked for the Diamond Trial. It was so easy! Now I just need to find 15 days at a Hyatt. Already have 5 scheduled, will have to find 10 cheap nights somewhere.

I like SPG but am a lowly nothng with them, and so figured it's easier to get the Diamond with Hyatt, and just use my SPG amex to rack up points with SPG.
