I have $130+ in WN credits, but I just cannot bring myself to use it.

CO currently wants $100 more than AA/UA/DL

no bump for me :(

heading to IAH now.

my mom is watching Roxy and she is doing remarkably well. She does not seem to be in any pain.

I'll shake my Crystal Ball harder next time.

Glad Roxy is doing fine.

If anyone is looking for a cheap (as in sub-$50/night) SPG stay near DC for a weekend in April, check out the Sheraton National. :-:

YES. I posted this elsewhere last night when FT was down. I hadn't yet booked a hotel for my family for the night before Easter, figured I'd see what spg.com had to offer and...wow. :D

There are very often great SPG deals in the DC area. It's a shame that this is the one city I can almost never actually take advantage of them (i.e. I can't be there and not stay with tjtenor4's parents, unless I'm with the entire family and their house is full of other relatives, as is the case this time).

Have you considered not telling her in advance, drugging her, and waking her up in LIM for a surprise party? :-:

I straight up asked if she'd be willing to go through LAX to get to LIM. She said yes, so I booked LAX-IAH-LIM-IAH-LAX (dropped PTY since it doesn't add that many miles).

How many days is adequate to see Macchu Pichu and the rest of LIM?

Clearly this is the best approach.

At least 5 as I understand it. LIM is not too bad but the need to get out to CUZ adds time.

Buy a lottery ticket. Now. :-:

You can see most of the touristy stuff in LIM in a day, but I'd take two (just to enjoy the amazing restaurants in Miraflores). There's a Radisson Decapolis in Miraflores that is a simply stunning hotel (think W, Sofitel or Andaz). No points in a meaningful program, but well worth a stay. I can't comment on Macchu Pichu, as I've never been.

You need 3-4 days minimum to see Cuzco and Machu Pichu + whatever time you want in LIM

I had no idea you could specify multiple destinations. Nifty.
