I'm trying to avoid making plans more than a month or two out because I don't exactly know what part of the country life will take us in the coming months. Sadly, I am having to pass on the LAX-LIM fare because it would need to fall in to the window of the unknown...

LAX-LIM is tempting, but as I'm already heading down there next week, and as the only new line would be PTY-LIM, I think I'll hold out for whatever the next deal is. I'd like to see sale fares to POS come out again, as it's a nice transfer point to either Barbados or Guyana/Suriname/French Guyana

Had an odd dream last night, and I wasn't even drinking. My wife and I were on a NW 747 from DTW to NRT in coach. I was pretty happy because we had an empty middle seat. I was looking out the window during take off when I saw that there were trees and power lines right in front of us. The plane clipped the trees and at one point banked hard to the left where it sliced up power lines. I was pretty :eek::eek: at this and though we were going down when I must have blacked out or something because the the next thing I know we're getting off the plane in DTW. Up in C (apparently this was a 3 class plane) we went to the windows to check out the damage.

In the terminal we found out that the pilot was a 'special guest' NASCAR driver. They decided that was a poor plan and let him go. The flight went MX as they brought a wing out of a hanger and were swapping wings at the terminal. Yea, no big deal, just swapping wings like you would change an oil filter. :rolleyes:

If we make it before June 15 we can take advantage of the LAX fare ;)

The fare is also valid in the fall based on the rules I posted in the MR thread, I believe. :-:
