Greetings from poolside at the Grand Hyatt SIN. The property is quite a bit nicer than most of the reviews on FT made it out to be. I am in the tower with the Diamond lounge and find it to be on par with the best international GHs at which I've stayed.

Reading the merger threads on the CO board makes me ask one question: is there a limit to the size of one user's ignore list? Reading the merger thread on the UA board makes me wonder who these dingleberries are and why that one :rolleyes: felt the need to insult Teh Box.

Now now, to be fair, it will be Penalty Box by United(tm) in approximately 180 days. Posting privileges will be allocated by United Premier/Premier Exec/1K/GS status.

It will be interesting to see what the company looks like post-merger fleet wise.

UA has 52 772s, 35 763s and 24 744s. While CO has 20 772s, 10 762s and 14 764s.

That's an impressive number of widebodies. Not to mention the 96 752s UA has and the 41 CO has.

For those of you asking about LatAm. I don't think the 752s will be useful there. The places CO likely wants to expand to, the 752s can't reach. But a 76 can easily. ;)

I also don't see the 744s going away too soon. Most of them go to Asia and they go out full repeatedly.

I like the logo. I really think the CO logo should stay and that will help to make both work groups feel their airline is there!!! Why not call the airline "United International" and bring back an old name!! :)

So the divert at IAH went welll tonight. Had dinner with SSullivan! We have missed each other way too many times over the last 6 months at IAH!! Also have a $12 voucher to use at the airport in the morning for coffee or something!! Currently in the Marriot at the airport!! :)

How about just fly out here to central texas and we take a jaunt a bit north west from here and go get it free out of a field?
I have mammoth bones about 100 yards from me, the schools gave up on the dig and they put it under a road over it...

I have, temporarily anyway, made nice with those who were pooping on Teh Box. That being said, I'm off to bed.
