I'm serving as an external reviewer on Friday - might keep checking the HP BNA Airport rates (only BNA HP with a G2).

Neither of the two HPs in BNA with G1 bonuses has an active AAA rate :confused:

Hi Trustguy!

Thanks for posting this. I just read the thread, and it seems that Platinum members can get an instant Diamond status. So my question is (and I've also posted it in the Hyatt thread):

If I have Platinum status courtesy of the Continental presidential plus mastercard, can I sign up for the instant Diamond status and then stay 15 nights to qualify for diamond until 2012?

I have no "real" stays at Hyatt to date. I am Platinum simply via the PPMC.

But, if I got the status, would I also be able to register for the Big Welcome BAck, too? Or is it not possible to combine promotions?

First and foremost, by all means register for the BWB promo. Hyatt allows for stacking. Since I am requalifying via the January double stay promo, I am not sure whether a partner qualification will allow you to try out Diamond status. Given Hyatt's recent history, I suspect you will get Diamond.

Let us know (here and there) what you find out.

Doesn't hurt to ask - I can say I moved up to temporary diamond while during another very nice promotion (and before outright earning the status).
