There are plastic trash bags over two of the five sprinkler heads and the heater/AC is also very loud.
Yup, that's all I have. Well maybe another . |

Let it be duly noted here that on the 7th of April in the year 2010 I set a new record for turning the AC on. There are not enough :rolleyes::td::-:
Still 73 degrees out (by wundergounds reckoning) and 83 in the bedroom.:(:td::rolleyes::-: |

Do you have access to the private line subset of GP Support dedicated to diamonds? If so, I would give them a call tomorrow (they are based in OMA).
Have you gotten the private line rep? Can you provide me with recommendation? |

I have always maintained that the UA program was really one of the best for the leisure traveler since it provided the E500s, SWUs, and lots of miles as compensation for delays and other minor inconveniences.
That will all be gone if the operation is going to be run out of Tempe. Those guys have no regard for elite flyers and will cut out all waivers and favors, compensation, and whatever else they can think of cutting. As a US Chairmans, I lived through it three or four years ago and bailed out when I saw the handwriting on the wall. If it happens that way, the UA elites will be in for a series of rude shocks. |

I don't. I was compensated well for situation (12k points plus G3 and 1W) and just don't want to go back so soon.

And there is no wind out there, so having the windows open is doing nil.
This cold front can come soon enough. |

First: I'm still on the site visit, writing up findings now. Didn't know there was a resolution to the issue. I would be apt to send an e-mail note to the manager detailing your itinerary and keep the stay this weekend; there should have been some form of retraining after the
In retrospect, I tried to have a work stay at a leisure hotel during a peak period (I booked a great rate last week when the hotel was intermittently sold out). Further, hotel is running obnixiously cheap rate specials to lure people in. The hotel certainly will take a closer look at Diamond guests and their stay habits based on our conversation. Good conversation with GM. I just didn't sleep very well after guest attempted to enter room (at least guest knocked when he saw DND sign). I need rest and think other accommodations is a better option. |

GM and I had a meaningful telephone discussion today while I was stuck in traffic (he called me ^). He did acknowledge the subset of their guests who are mattress runners which messes up their room allocation. I have been a guest of the hotel 5 times this year and have stayed there 4 of those 5 trips, with the fifth giving me breakfast prior to a work meeting. GM offered to either reverse all of my room charges (without stay credit) or give me 12k points (redemption value of hotel) plus allow me to have stay credit and associated points. I chose door # 2 since I got about 14.5k points for an $80 stay.

Walked to convenience store to get a snack. Happens to be where the Greyhound bus stops in middle-of-nowhere, LA for a snack break. Police incident when someone decided to buy a six-pack to enjoy on the bus.
