Here's the skinny. While I'm sure icuhere2 is a nice guy, if he honestly perceived the value of the M+S coupon to be $20 then he would have either used it or accounted for it as a higher value. But, he didn't. Because the real value is negligible. To his credit, he did also tip cash so he's not on my :rolleyes: list. Irony of all ironies, I was just fishing for something in my satchel and came across a couple M+S $20 coupons that I apparently picked-up at the DCA P(oop) Club during one of my recent visits and had completely forgot they were there. So, for me, (and I'm sure most people) the real value of a M+S gift cert is about .01. |
