Yesterday I made a captioned version of the baby pic using your Global Services quote. I'm thinking I jumped the gun. Should've made an EliteAccess version.

And said image will be hopefully deployed in the UA forum at an appropriate time in the near future? :D:D

I was going to say that your scenario sounds a lot more like F&B and not someone in Rooms or Front Office.

I've done just about every FOH job in hotels and I would, without exception, always prefer cash over random restaurant gift certs.

I work for money. Not something that forces me to spend more money in order to achieve some sort of perceived value.

if you honestly think receiving 10% of your compensation in the form of a gift-card is even remotely close to good then you earn an F in economics and, by the way, I have a bridge to sell you.

Let's all repeat after me: CASH. IS. KING.

Too long. Brevity, my friend, is the soul of wit. :-:

Totally agree. But there is something to be said for an impossibly long advanced line of dialog paired with that picture. I've always been the fan of dark and twisted humor.

I certainly don't, and I believe it was Phudnik who was expressing that possibility. Cash is most definitely king, and I wish I had more of it to decide what I wanted to do with it. Such is life. :)

Wholeheartedly agree. But something new and different every so often isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I also think a caption-free version of your daughter is most appropriate for a general sprinkling in the CO forum. There's always someone whining who we know has a look on their face not far from your little girl's. :D

Sweet action. Netflix just came out with a Wii disc that allows you to download and watch stuff from Netflix via Wii, as well as games and junk. ^^

I stay out of the UA forum nowadays unless I'm perusing the new posts in the pilot Q&A thread. I haven't been in there since UDU, so maybe I should visit and see how that's working out for them.

Slightly off topic and possibly pedantic, but you generally have to spend money to earn money. So while you may work for money, you are also working to spend money so that you may work for more money.

I think it may replace this one for me:
