Dinner: baigan bhartha, one of my favorite Indian dishes. Eggplant-based. :D

Also, the Sam Adams Irish Red, which I bought a few days ago on a whim (figured it was worth a try), is not bad. Not unbelievable, but totally fine. My dad is a big Killian's fan so that's what I end up drinking a lot when at home.

^^:D YAY!

What's the status of your flight? The thunder and lighting are really going strong here (about 40 miles south of EWR)

Wildwood did in one of the recent classes here too with that strike-out policy. Prom was really monitored and not a problem but 2 days away at the shore did them in. I chaperoned my son's since they only could spend 1 night and I booked a Hampton Inn in AC (got points of course) and they did the 30 mi drive to Wildwood. All kids very well behaved^ and severely sunburned:td:

Are you in College Station right now?

No, my wife will be there four days a week for her master's this summer. We just fronted the first half of the summer tuition and are waiting for the federal grant money that pays for the degree to disburse. It is a rather  process as most things dealing with higher education and government tend to be.

But, a free master's degree raises my tolerance level for  considerably. :-:

Now that the idiot college students are walking past the no trespassing signs and directly through my yard while I'm actively working in my yard, I get to go buy security cameras.

That's how it is here -- Junior Prom is tonight, but it's Senior 'cut day' tomorrow! I can imagine that there won't be too many upperclassman in school t'morrow!

Plus fronting the money results in cash back, hotel points, or miles.

Your dinner cuisine sound yummy!^

There's lightning here, too -- probably 15 miles west of EWR!

Oh, it would, if they would f*cking accept Visa. Instead, I get to pay with a nigh on useless Discover card. No miles for me.

Ah, I gotcha. So why VISA and not a Continental MasterCard? OnePass points!

I'm out. Off to Freebirds to get dinner...just like in college. :D

Because the Visa is for UA and has the credit limit to support fronting the tuition bill. My CO Mastercard did not have the available credit given that there is other debt already on it (getting married and moving was not cheap) and I got it before we bought a house so the credit limit is not that high to begin with. I also have the Marriott Visa which has plenty of room except that it's, you know, a Visa.

We have deplaned and are waiting for an update. SWAP:WX in effect at EWR so no idea how bad it will be.

Bear at work today weighed 150 lbs. Paper says he came from NJ? Are boxers chasing them north?
