Except for the hammer and sickle. That invokes images of strict, brutal authoritarianism. May I suggest some crest, perhaps with the Latin "Quidquid operat" ('whatever works')?

Oh, you didn't get the memo. Teh Box is actually a former Soviet Republic, which never got around to ditching the authoritarian communist stuff.

That was belynch being rude that time. I know it's usually me, but I'm actually innocent this time.

WWTBD: My current balance transfer is paid halfway down. I am projecting having it paid off in the next 4-6 weeks. I told myself that as the debt goes and the score consequently goes up, I want to get a card that will still get me some kind of rewards. I would consider a CO or UA card, as much as I hate Chase. I have a cashback-flavored card since I hold a Discover. My two main cards have historically been a HHonors AmEx and the Green charge card. Is there anyone in Teh Box that will not say SPG??

With our powers combined, we are Captain .

My "rudeness" was a Simpson's reference for everyone playing the at-home game. I just got all kerfuffled because Trustguy mentioned mixing Canadianisms with teh box. I like to keep my work and play separate.

Although I'm not exactly sure which one is which in this instance.

Off to go running. Along the Atlantic. Please, don't feel bad for me.

Close. It is an Astraeus for the TATLs.

Fare works one-way, too. I am really tempted to fly into SXF and out of FRA on a one-way F reward if I can find one.

Right on the edge of a nasty t-storm here.

Just saw the kids off to prom. They do look lovely all cleaned up. :)

Apparently, I'm being tapped to replace a departing faculty member as a co-advisor to the class that will be seniors next year. One of my largest responsibilities in that role will be overseeing the planning of the prom.

I guess, since I'll be planning a wedding for just a few weeks after that, many of the things I'll have to get familiar with will be quite similar...
