What are your thoughts on the W FLL or the Westin Beach Resort?

My wife is flying to DTW for the day tomorrow for meetings. Knowing that we collect mostly OnePass points she ponied up the $1200 for a same-day return B fare on the ERJ. She's not elite so no row 12 but she did get an A seat both ways at least.

Tonight she called the car service for the :rolleyes:5:15 pickup tomorrow morning. She told them she was going to Terminal C for Continental. I corrected her saying it would be Terminal A because it was XJet. Her response was, "I paid effing $1200, I deserve effing Terminal C for that!"

Just one of the many, many reasons I love her. ^:D^

I say one of the first threads that should be started in the combined UA/CO forum is a colpuck schedule thread.

Now, let me see if I have this sequence straight. He goes to that thread, gets them as riled up as a bunch of toddlers on sugar cubes, and then, just before the mods step up, he becomes the voice of reason, wronged by personal attacks and misstatements, inducing someone to lapse into a lengthy discussion of the subtle differences between sympathy and empathy.

Does that pretty much sum it up?

I was always the voice of reason, people just like hurling personal attacks because they had nothing else to come back at me with.

You might be a troll, but they are nuts. That thread is like trying to reason with a 2 yr old or a cat. I thought about posting more in that thread but decided that it was a total waste of time. :D

All conversations involving a UAer are wastes of time by definition.
Including this one @:-)

Ahhhh, Houston. It's a wonder of all the things I miss about TX, you never come up

The job fairy has smiled upon me - I return to full time employment on June 14th! :-:

It's a contract based consulting job here in NJ, but they're fine with me working remotely in Houston. Anything is better than nothing!

Can we title it the "Hide your women, children, and " thread?

Can you tell that to the one lawyer that was in the same court room as me these past few days?
