On the Intracoastal in FLL proper? My grandmother's condo is maybe 10 minutes inland from the Intracoastal in Deerfield.

Not in FLL itself, but Pompano. Man, if they could have bought property in FLL proper on the Intracostal I'd be flying paid F! :D:rolleyes::-:

Close to the beach/intracoastal is the place to be during the summer. Otherwise you get :rolleyes:. Unfortunately, I grew up 2 miles away from the beach, which was 2 miles too far.

CO wanted ridiculous rates for SAT-DCA at the time of booking. She'll make Gold on planned travel, regardless, so it's not a big deal.

Actually, but for the seat pitch, I hear that Airtran is not bad lately, especially if you can avoid ATL.

Still can't believe that you're moving to Houston and getting rid of a car rather than acquiring another one.

I love not having a car in the city. I still own one but keep it in storage most of the year. Nevertheless, I am tempted to bring it here again full time, even though I would use it once or twice a week, at best, and for driving to IAD or BWI.
