Any book suggestions? I'd prefer paperback and non-fiction if possible.

Check out my reading list on LinkedIn. There's lots of that on there; about 50-some choices. My taste tends to stay in business or history.

+1. Great for when you don't want to burden the brain with nonfiction.

I don't even know who Vince Flynn is.

MSP-based guy who writes CIA thriller fiction. It's good for what it is.

Morning, Box.

I'm talking about Saturday and Sunday morning, around 7AM.

I used the showers at C-South last Sat and Sunday and there was no wait.

My book suggestion:

The Gone Away World, by Nick Harkaway

It haz apocalypse; it haz ninjas; it haz bizarre philosophical riffs. It's like a combination of Douglas Adams and Chuck Palahniuk. One of the best books I've read in a long time.

It arrives after the domestic red-eyes so it is possible it gets busy in the E-club.

When are you going to be in PDX?

That sounds like an interesting combination of authors. I'll have to see if I can grab a sample for my Kindle.

I hear The Haulage & HazMat Emergency Civil Freebooting Company is currently recruiting. The pay is lousy, but you get to keep your Starpoints.

Check it out, you will like it.

Almost time for my conference call. Later Box.

Tried to get on the phone to cancel my awful newspaper service. According to the automated attendant, 0954 is after 1400 because the offices are closed  Thanks, Gannett.

Well, to be fair I stay at my Grandparent's former condo (they passed away ~ 2001, which my Mom and Uncle inherited and have kept) on the intra-costal. No hotel costs, a block from the beach, and an almost always deserted pool?^:-:

We finally landed in CLE last night at 12:40 am, and I got home around 1:40. It was the longest delay I've had in years, but at least we got home.

+1 for JRZYSHAWN!!

But did your travel companion get hers?

Anyone have any opinions and/or recommendations regarding Asheville NC? I decided not to go home between weeks in CLT, and now I'm looking at the prospect of a long weekend with no plans.

They are having what looks like a mildly interesting festival in Asheville this weekend, especially some interesting music: blues, bluegrass, a little country and some jazz too.

What weekend are you there?

Those are never busy, I think people have forgotten that they are there.
