Any book suggestions? I'd prefer paperback and non-fiction if possible.

Looks like the gods of travel are looking my way again. June trip to SFO is ticketed, and so is a July visit to PDX. Since both involve a 2-hour layover at IAH after the red-eye from GIG, does anyone know how crowded are the PCs at IAH if I want to take a shower there before my domestic flights? I'm talking about Saturday and Sunday morning, around 7AM.

My book suggestion:
The Gone Away World, by Nick Harkaway It haz apocalypse; it haz ninjas; it haz bizarre philosophical riffs. It's like a combination of Douglas Adams and Chuck Palahniuk. One of the best books I've read in a long time. |

That sounds like an interesting combination of authors. I'll have to see if I can grab a sample for my Kindle.
Almost time for my conference call. Later Box. |
Tried to get on the phone to cancel my awful newspaper service. According to the automated attendant, 0954 is after 1400 because the offices are closed  Thanks, Gannett.

Happy Birthday jrzyshawn :-: We finally landed in CLE last night at 12:40 am, and I got home around 1:40. It was the longest delay I've had in years, but at least we got home. COFlyerCLE - glad to hear you made it home safe!!

That is excellent information. Perhaps we can set something up for Sunday morning (provided there are enough people have recovered ;)).

My string of EUA success on IAH-DCA continues. 5-Days both ways. I think I've only ever missed an EUA on DCA-IAH once. I guess it helps that I swim the opposite direction than most of the salmon on this route.

Anyone have any opinions and/or recommendations regarding Asheville NC? I decided not to go home between weeks in CLT, and now I'm looking at the prospect of a long weekend with no plans.
They are having what looks like a mildly interesting festival in Asheville this weekend, especially some interesting music: blues, bluegrass, a little country and some jazz too.
