I would be done with running (or at least enact a new training regimen) after that event as well.

Ouch. Funny and wrong at the same time.

In my defense;), it wasn't really the actual running, but the fact it aggravated a back/sciatic nerve issue. I hope to get started with a little running again after vacation since it's the one thing that helps me take off a few pounds.:o

I find it very hard to sleep when it's above 65 too and in the winter I love 60 and a nice comforter. I can't believe I never had any AC until I was 28!

I do the fan with the "heat" set to 58 in the winter. I also drive with my car windows down year-round ... Yep - I grew up in what was then rural Maryland.

I've actually gained weight since I started the heavy running / bike routine - guess my body is still in the "converting flab" phase. As long as it stops and then goes back down I won't need to revisit the Alli plan.

I was shocked to hear the heat kick on at home last night (meaning it fell below 65). We are still running well below normal here in So Cal (low-mid 60's today). It will be nice to get back out to PSP where it is warmer (with cooler temps at night).

I am not sure I survive in Florida humidity if I ever move down there. Looks like I may be able to get oceanfront land real cheap in the next few weeks.

I did 7 July/Aug 1 week theme park visits with kids - now that is a real weight loss program!^ It's just that you really find out how bad some people smell when they sweat:rolleyes:

Colpuck, this looks like a decent deal if the place is any good

I've now completed v1 of the Hello World tutorial on the XCode development platform. Learning the new gestures and keyboard commands on the Mac is harder than the coding part, at least so far.

Does anyone think the W San Diego is worth $165 for a Wonderful room?

I'd guess ETOPS180, just like the rest of the fleet. And that would necessitate a bit extra flying.

Watch CO come out later and say... well, we're off a little bit on the type of a/c we will be flying. It will actually be a CO/UA 747.;)

Where might one apply for said waiver?

For those of you that have been to LIM.

How far/expensive is it to take a cab from the airport to the Sheraton? Anything to be concerned about with the locals? Is public transportation an option?
