You would be bored to tears with my recommendations ;)

Anything by Vince Flynn is always good on a trip. (Or anytime, for that matter!)

I don't even know who Vince Flynn is. Then again, I was spending part of my morning thinking about the connections between empathy and ethics.

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, despite being very slow for the first two chapters, is very good.

Good morning, Box.

Congrats, sdm1130 ^. I may say that I've got a little job fairy dust to spread, since I have just agreed to hire one of our interns for a full time position, and I'm trying to get a job for another intern in one of the development teams.

At the risk of sounding like a complete noob, could someone please explain what is the deal with tapirs here at teh Box?

Meh...Very formulaic and quite fictional. I've read 5 or so of them and they pass the time but I wouldn't really call them great reading. If you're up for something long, I HIGHLY recommend Shantaram. It is the second book I reviewed there.

Eat My Globe is a decent foodie/travel story though the travel bits aren't as good as I'd hoped. It is also quite short.

Just an irrational and unhealthy obsession of ALCO's.

I am going to keep my fingers crossed for tonight and then on Monday. CO732 on Monday looks full.

Have a most excellent commemoration of your birth.

Thanks.

I received an awsome gift already. A friend deposited some cash in my CO.com TravelBank account. :D

My string of EUA success on IAH-DCA continues. 5-Days both ways. I think I've only ever missed an EUA on DCA-IAH once. I guess it helps that I swim the opposite direction than most of the salmon on this route.

Good Morning Box

Congrats to sdm1130!!

Happy Birthday jrzyshawn!!

Looks like it's going to be a slow day here. Out of 154 advisors and assistants at this branch, I'd estimate there are maybe 60 in the office today and most of those I've talked to so far plan on leaving by 2:00 at the latest. Still have the weekly client conference call at 11:00 although I get to attend in person this week as it is happening 12 floors above my current location.

I've been getting mostly 5-day EUAs on that route this year.

Thanks and a good friend indeed. I have close to $600 in TravelBank now and I have used about $400 so far. ^
