I hear ya -- but I live too close to EWR to not go from there! I will look at the fares out of PHL for trips later in the summer. I'm just trying to get the 1st trip booked for 4th of July! (Things get complicated when certain other parties can not seem to confirm their schedule!)

My grass isn't brown straw so it's still spring^ It's sweat producing inside though:td:

Was more than $100 cheaper for me to fly into PHL than any of the NYC airports.

For me -- PHL is at least 1 1/2 hrs by car!

Well, if you're already there, then that makes sense!^ My only alternate airport for the summer would be CHO -- & *nobody* really flies from there!

Parking isn't good at Philly. I usually take the airbrook shuttle to EWR but they don't have great hours on weekends so you can't catch an early flight.

SWF is my favorite airport and fast to get too and cheap to park at but forget going west without going south on a puddle jumper first. AA used to have a good presence so that's why I had Chicago residency:rolleyes: from all my O'Hare stops.

Of course, I park at an off-site place -- so it's quite convenient for me to drive to EWR & fly!^

I really don't like the puddle-jumper part -- I've done that! I have a hard enough time w/RJs!;)
