Happy birthday, jrzyshawn!

Looks like the gods of travel are looking my way again. June trip to SFO is ticketed, and so is a July visit to PDX. Since both involve a 2-hour layover at IAH after the red-eye from GIG, does anyone know how crowded are the PCs at IAH if I want to take a shower there before my domestic flights? I'm talking about Saturday and Sunday morning, around 7AM.

You will not have to wait very long at that hour. I cannot recall ever having waited more than a few minutes at the E P Club at that time of day, whether I had been arriving on a redeye from the West Coast or from South America.

Did you see the schedule change for the ONT run in October?

No. Is it bad?

I'm going to FLL for a week in July! Generally speaking, IMO, the best season is off season. :-:

If you like humidity, all the best to you.:p I'd rather spend all of summer up north.

Anyone have any opinions and/or recommendations regarding Asheville NC? I decided not to go home between weeks in CLT, and now I'm looking at the prospect of a long weekend with no plans.

They are having what looks like a mildly interesting festival in Asheville this weekend, especially some interesting music: blues, bluegrass, a little country and some jazz too.

The Southern Alps of New Zealand have the ideal July climate, IMHO.

This is a sound plan. Mission Valley ain't what it used to be.

Also, are you still planning on going to Croce's?

Meh. I thought Shantaram was amazing for the first few hundred pages. And then it just got long and drawn out. Could've used some better editing.
